About the Founder

myTomorrows was founded in 2012 by Ronald Brus, a doctor who has also worked as CEO of several large pharmaceutical companies. He founded myTomorrows after he experienced firsthand how difficult accessing drugs in development was when his father was diagnosed with lung cancer.

Ronald expected to be able to help his father since as a doctor, he was informed and understood the various treatment options. Besides, as a pharma executive, he had access to a network of peers at pharmaceutical companies with promising drugs in development.

Ronald followed the procedures of early access and experienced complicated, lengthy and burdensome processes. While he was waiting for approval, his father passed away. It was then that the idea of myTomorrows was born, to ensure that other seriously ill patients would have better access to treatments in development.
