At myTomorrows we’re committed to supporting healthcare professionals to provide the best care and options for their patients. To help them do this, we have an in-house team dedicated to supporting treating physicians and clinical researchers in their search for pre-approval medicines.

Meet George, Daniel and Adrianne who are on hand to support physicians and their patients to discover and access all possible treatment options.

If you’d like to get in touch with the team, have a question, or find out more about how we can help, please email medical-community@mytomorrows.com

George Vernikos, myTomorrows Director of Medical Community

What is your background prior to working at myTomorrows?

I have a PhD in Genomics and Infectious Diseases from the University of Cambridge. I worked for 15+ years as Medical Director in local, regional and global medical affairs roles in big pharma including at Novartis, GSK, Johnson & Johnson and smaller US-based biotech companies like Novavax.

Are there any medical community areas you specialize in?

Recently our work as a team has particularly focused on supporting medical communities in the fields of neuromuscular disease and brain tumors, however as myTomorrows continues to grow and be used by more treating physicians and clinical research teams, we look forward to supporting many more community hubs worldwide.

In your experience, what is the main challenge your physician networks encounter?

It can be a challenge for physicians to stay up to date with all available options for their patients, that’s where myTomorrows can help.

How can the myTomorrows medical community team help healthcare professionals?

As a team, we can help to provide physicians and research teams with the right information, in the right level of detail, to support them to make informed decisions for their patients.

Adrianne Rivard, myTomorrows Senior Community Development Manager

What is your background prior to working at myTomorrows?

I have a bachelor’s degree in Human Biology with a specialization in Human Health and Disease. Previously I worked in clinical operations at Tempus, using AI-driven precision medicine to enhance patient care through clinical trial matching and data-driven insights.

Are there any medical community areas you specialize in?

I’m focused on building relationships and supporting healthcare professionals at major neuromuscular disease (NMD) centers across the US and Europe.

In your experience, what is the main challenge your physician networks encounter?

Healthcare professionals shouldn’t have to choose between priorities when it comes to patient care. Physicians can often feel burdened by searching for relevant treatments when there is an unmet medical need due to time constraints.

How can the myTomorrows medical community team help healthcare professionals?

At myTomorrows, we help healthcare professionals by providing them with the right tools and support to feel confident that they are providing the best care for their patients.

Daniël Groeneweg, myTomorrows Senior Community Development Manager

What is your background prior to working at myTomorrows?

I have a Master’s degree in Cancer Stem Cells and am trained in fundamental research. I have worked in phase 2-3 immunology and oncology clinical trials and have developed investigator-initiated studies within cardiology and respiratory conditions in the EU alongside top-tier key opinion leaders. Previously I also worked at AbbVie as a clinical research associate (CRA) and also at Omron Healthcare as a global medical affairs CRA.

Are there any medical community areas you specialise in?

At myTomorrows, I’m currently focused on supporting medical communities in the fields of brain tumors and pancreatic cancer.

In your experience, what is the main challenge your physician networks encounter?

Experimental treatments is not in the job description of a physician, meaning often they often need to use their free time to find the best options for their patients.

How can the myTomorrows medical community team help healthcare professionals?

By implementing myTomorrows in the daily routine, considering trials can become the standard of care and not only an opportunity if a physician proactively searches for it.
